OBJECTIVE /
Choose a dead, dying, or defunct brand and breathe new life into it. Based on the core meaning of the brand soul, reposition and expand it. Design a series of products, services, or events within the theme of the new identity system.
APPROACH /
The brand Ideal was famous for producing toys for children in the 1960s and 1970s. I kept the energetic and playful spirit and expanded it to overall services, infusing play and learning with inspiration and allowing children to have joyful experiences. I created a playful visual system and used five colors to differentiate services. I used the light bulb as the main visual concept to bring back the joyful moment of play that Ideal represented in the past.
